All About Cobie in 2011

In 2011, the hard-charging Cobie McGhee was a standout two-way performer for the Wilkinson County Christian Academy Rams football team that posted an 11-2 overall record and made it to the quarterfinals of the Mississippi Association of Independent Schools (MAIS) Class A playoffs.

McGhee was a solid blocking TE on a primarily run oriented offense but managed to demonstrate good hands when the ball did come his way. He also showed good skills as the Rams long snapper on punts and extra points.

As a defensive end McGhee was very adept at making big plays behind the line of scrimmage: tackles. Sacks and even scoring a TD on one of several fumble recoveries he made during the season.
